Our Dentists
Sanjeev Tandon
BDS (Edin) Qualified 1991 (GDC 66671)After qualifying from Edinburgh university in 1991, Sanj worked as an associate in Glasgow and West Lothian. He began working at Craigmillar Dental Centre in 1997 prior to purchasing the practice. Sanj enjoys all aspects of dentistry particularly cosmetic dentistry and implants. Sanj has been mentoring young dentists through the early part of their careers since 2005. Outside of work Sanj enjoys playing golf, swimming and listening to music.
John Anderson
BDS (Edin) Qualified 1993 (GDC 68895)John is from Edinburgh graduating from Edinburgh Dental School in 1993. Since qualifying, John has worked in general practice in and around Edinburgh and the Lothians, providing both routine dental care and more complex restorative and cosmetic treatment.
Nora Morsy-Fahamy BDS (London)
BDS (London) Qualified 2010 (GDC 194051)Nora qualified as a dentist from Barts and The London, Queen Mary University in 2010. In February 2018, Nora moved to Edinburgh and joined our team. Nora is passionate about providing conservative dentistry to help preserve teeth using techniques such as tooth coloured fillings. She is known for her calm manner and commitment to providing gentle treatment. Away from work, Nora enjoys cooking and exploring the beautiful landscapes of Scotland.
Kelsey Beck
BDS (Dundee) Qualified 2014 (GDC 251095)Kelsey qualified from the University of Dundee in 2014 and joined the Craigmillar Dental team in May 2018. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, and outside work enjoys spending time outdoors and travelling.
Amy Stevenson
BDS (Dundee) Qualified 2014 (250841)Amy graduated from Dundee dental school in 2014 and worked in Fife before moving to Craigmillar Dental Centre. She strives to treat her patients with great care and compassion and enjoys treating anxious patients. Amy also mentors young dentists through the early stages of their career. She is dog mad and loves playing golf and socialising with friends in her spare time.
Colin Halliday
BDS (Dundee) Qualified 2014 (250839)Colin graduated from Dundee dental school in 2014 and has worked in general practice in the Lothians ever since. He is a friendly figure within the practice and enjoys all aspects of dentistry. He likes getting to know his patients and putting them at ease. Outside of work, Colin is a keen fisherman, trying to chase the elusive salmon around the Scottish rivers. He loves the outdoors with his dogs and family and is a keen cook.
Taskeen Bailwal
BDS (Dundee) Qualified 2022 (301334)Tasked graduated from Dundee University in 2022 and joined the Craigmillar Dental Centre in August 2020. She enjoys prosthetics and paediatric dentistry and in her spare time loves being with friends and family (and sometimes just her books).
Maria Sorenson
BDS (Dundee) Qualified 2022 (GDC 301511)Maria graduated from Dundee University in 2022 and joined the Craigmillar Dental Centre in August 2023. She enjoys root treatments and restorative dentistry and in her spare time, she loves catching up with friends & family and anything involving animals.
Hannah Beardsley
BDS (Dundee) Qualified 2023 (GDC 308541)Hannah grew up in Glasgow and graduated from Dundee University in 2023. She is interested in all aspects of dentistry especially working with children and enjoys getting to know her patents. Outside of work she enjoys yoga, running and socialising with friends & family.
Olivia Welsh
BDS (Dundee) Qualified 2024 (GDC 317700)Olivia grew up in the Perthshire countryside and graduated from Dundee University in 2024. She loves making sure patients feel happy and comfortable coming to the dentist. When she's not working you'll find her cycling or knitting a very holey jumper.
Our Dental Nurses
Our team of Qualified dental nurses are all registered with the GDC. They receive regular training in cross infection control and CPR to ensure the safety of our patients. Their calm and reassuring manner along with their knowledge and organisation ensure high standards of patient care.
