Conventional Fixed Bridges

You may be unfortunate to lose a tooth, or may have a gap from a missing tooth already, in which case a bridge can be provided to fill the gap. One option is the conventional bridge where teeth adjacent to the gap are prepared. A bridge is constructed at the laboratory and fitted into the space exactly to fill the gap. This may be of particular importance for appearance or for function.

Sometimes the most sensitive (non-destructive) way to fill a gap is to utilise fillings that already exist in adjacent teeth. These fillings are removed and matching 'wings' attached to the bridge which fit into the spaces exactly.
Adhesive Bridge (Option 2)

This is another sensitive (non-destructive) method to replace a missing tooth. This method involves little or no preparation of the tooth adjacent to the gap. The bridge is constructed and "stuck" to the tooth next to the gap.
