Missing Teeth Options

When a number of teeth are missing, there are various options available. You may choose to have a denture (acrylic, chrome or flexible denture). Unfortunatly many patients find dentures difficult to tolerate because they are not stable. Also, over time, your gums will recede and the denture may not fit as well.
In these cases, if a bridge to replace multiple teeth is not possible, a denture secured by implants may be the treatment of choice. This may be by using a small number of implants and magnets to hold the denture, or implants and denture secured by a ball and socket mechanism. A final option may be using the implants to secure a bridge.
